Episode #11 Santa Monica’s Pacific Ocean Park and Your Personal House of Mirrors

Podcast Episode

Santa Monica Pacific Ocean Park

Pacific Ocean Park was built in 1958 on Santa Monica Beach, California to compete against the new area sensation, Disneyland. It was to be a new type of theme park, but much closer to Los Angeles than Disneyland.  Was it different?  Join the fun with Rick and Brandon as they tell stories of P.O.P. and other Southern California amusement parks during the 1960s.  Take-away some tips from the amusement park’s history and apply them to your business and personal careers.  As an added bonus, their story draws an analogy between P.O.P.’s “house of mirrors” to the current employee vs independent contractor issue.
