    1. List what clients are REALLY looking for?
    2. List the services in your industry that clients are getting but not appreciating
    3. List the services that clients really want, but are not getting in your industry.
  2. List your competitors
    1. Direct
    2. Indirect
    3. Substitute competitors
  3. List your services or products.
    1. Are they at risk from:
      1. Being technologically obsolete?
      2. Environmentally unsound?
      3. Culturally unacceptable?
      4. Are other industries encroaching on you?
