Scammers are out to get your money. Don’t be fooled.
I received this e-mail the other day saying that I owed money to the IRS. Of course, I knew this was a scam, but wanted to see how it played out. I ran my cursor over the link, and saw it was another link, not an .exe file that would install a virus on my computer.
This is what came up…a “Fraud Application.” It looks official unless you look at the link which is, guess what, an exe file. DON’T TOUCH IT!
